Aleumos Home is a private, self-hosted Home Assistant instance operated by a single household for its own use. This policy describes how it handles data obtained through Google APIs.

What data is accessed

With the owner's explicit consent, the application accesses Google account data via the Google Smart Device Management (Nest) API — device names, state, and telemetry (e.g. temperature, humidity, HVAC mode) — solely to display and control the owner's own Nest devices inside their private Home Assistant installation.

How the data is used

• Data is used only to provide the smart-home monitoring and control the owner requested.
• It is processed and stored on the owner's own self-hosted hardware; it is not sent to any external server operated by us beyond the Google APIs it originates from.
• No Google user data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
• Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the smart-home functionality.
• The application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention & deletion

Device data lives only within the owner's Home Assistant instance and is removed when the integration is deleted. The owner can revoke this application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
